nov 13 (TruthDive): JTHJ – Yash Chopra’s final directorial venture. The man has proved he can make movie andhistory altogether. You will be awestruck bound to your seats watching King Khan, Kat and Anushka Sharma on-screen. The movie was directed by Yash Chopra and partly by his son Aditya Chopra.
The never-ending love story!
Our hero-in (Katrina) with childlike belief on silly little things falls in love with a charming roadside Romeo – Samar Anand (Sharukh Khan) in London. Time comes for her to testify her superstition belief over true love or rather for her true love-she prays to god that he saves Samar from a horrible accident and in return she’d never see him for lifetime. She opts to lose his love in fear of losing him forever. She makes him promise to leave her and never to return to her or even London for that matter.
Our hero wants to prove her superstition wrong and he too challenges the almighty that if he dies, then she’d understand that she was wrong and it was not her fault he met with an accident. He joins bomb squad in Indian Army and diffuses them with no armor. He wishes to die to prove his love for her, but maybe her superstition was not just a superstition after all!
A decade later fate plays its part, Akeera(Anushka Sharma) shows up from nowhere as Discovery channel’s freelance documentary maker. She makes a movie on him on reading his personal diary, obviously falling in love that instant. And when the movie is made and is ready be to aired, the company protocol asks for Samar to be there in London. After a long hesitation he agrees to come to London, but what happens next is a lovely disaster with twists and turns which needs to be enjoyed in cinemas near you.

Memoirs
Sharukh makes two entries and both bag heavy round of applause – the first in his Royal Enfield with military suit and Ray Ban glasses, second with his effervescent looks since Mohabatein, with his guitar and lovely London in background.
Katrina and Anushka are given equal importance but are kept independent throughout (which is a bad thing while all audience expect is rivalry and controversies)
Glitches
Katrin’as family vanishes after first half and Sharukh”s family are kept in closet as just letter-pads.
Screenplay revolves around just these three and it’s annoying after a time.
Bomb squad scenes are heroic but way over dramatic as well.
Tidbitz
Rishi Kapoor plays a guest role. He plays Katrina’s step dad who influences the screenplay to take a turn after his coming on-screen.
